How to register for a Community Education class
Go to the InTouch Receipting registration system
If you have an account already, login here. If you have a student in the district, you can register them using their Other ID # found in Skyward
Once logged in, choose Items at all Schools
Select Community Ed
And then select Community Education
Click the category of the class you are interested in and ensure you are selecting the correct age or location
Click Buy
Click Checkout in the upper right corner
Follow payment instructions
IN PERSON: Visit our office at 406 NW 5th Avenue, Battle Ground Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We accept; check, cash (exact amount), VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Registration is not complete until payment is received.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT Any cash other then the exact amount. A Drop Box is available 24/7 in front of the Community Education office front door for payment drop-off by check or cash during off hours. If you choose the Drop Box option, please use an envelope for your cash or check and provide a note with your full name, phone number, email, and physical address so we can apply the payment to the correct account.
Is pre-registration required?
Pre-registration is required. Classes have minimum/maximum enrollments.
Payment is required at the time of registration and prior to program participation.
Payments will be processed upon receipt in the Community Education office.
If registration occurs after the start date of the class, a $5 late fee will be assessed.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Confirmations are sent via email only if you have provided your email address during the account set-up process. If an email has not been provided you will be contacted only if your registration cannot be processed or if a class is canceled.
Where is my class being held?
All classes are held in Battle Ground Public School buildings and grounds. The location including address will be listed in the registration information when registering.
Do you provide accommodations in compliance with the ADA?
Yes, anyone requiring special accommodations must contact this office ten days prior to the start of class.
How do I report an incident?
SafeSchools is our district’s tip reporting service. If you have information about a threat to our safety, do your part and report it! And remember, you can remain anonymous. You can report tips on bullying, intimidation harassment, weapons, drugs or another concern.
Cancellation policy
Please register on time and in advance to avoid courses and programs being canceled. Battle Ground Community Education is supported by course fees; therefore we must establish a minimum enrollment and cancel courses that do not reach that minimum. That decision is always determined at least 48 hours before the class is scheduled to start. In the event your class is canceled, our department will make every effort to contact you. Be sure that your contact information with daytime phone numbers is complete and up to date on your registration/student profile.
If your course is canceled by our department you may transfer to another course or request a full refund of course fees. Course fee refunds due to class cancellation take approximately three to four weeks to process and are issued by check from the business office. Please make sure your physical address where you receive mail is current as that is where your refund check will be sent.
Refund policy
Due to our instructor salaries being paid by the fees collected and because students are denied enrollment when the class maximum is met, we must limit refunds. A refund will only be issued if received in writing (emails will be accepted as in writing) 7 working days prior to the beginning of class, camp or recreation program. All customer initiated refunds are subject to a $15 administrative fee.
