The Employee Recognition Awards highlight staff members who embody the district’s values and commitment to student learning. Nominations are open to every staff member in Battle Ground Public Schools. The selection criteria include commitment to the district’s mission, contribution to a safe environment, support for high-quality instruction and collaborative behavior demonstrating trust and respect. Angela’s dedication to her students is unparalleled. A beloved teacher at CAM, she brings creativity, empathy and boundless energy to her role, whether organizing outdoor school, leading ASB or engaging with families. Angela’s commitment to supporting students, academically and emotionally, brightens every classroom and enriches the lives of all she teaches.

Mary is truly the heart and soul of Pleasant Valley Primary. Her warm, welcoming presence creates a special school environment, and she’s always willing to go the extra mile to help. Mary’s dedication to students, families and staff has helped create a close-knit, supportive school community that is appreciated by so many.
