Attend an upcoming listening session
Join district leaders and school board members for a discussion about planning for the financial future of BGPS schools, including budget priorities and future educational programs and operations levies. Financial stability is critical to bringing change to the district and preparing students for their future. Get the details about this event on June 17.
End-of-year checklist
As summer approaches, please take a moment to look through the end-of-year checklist and information about the 2026-27 school year. Additional information will be provided over the summer as it becomes available.
Individual state test results available soon
Test results will soon be available in Skyward for students who took state assessments in spring 2026. Please watch for an email in the coming days with instructions on accessing your child's scores.
June school meals
School lunch menus for the month are available online. Meals consumed through the last day of school can be paid for through InTouch Receipting.
Starting June 15, free summer meals will be available at CAM Academy from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. All kids age 18 and under are welcome. Meals must be consumed onsite. See the summer menu.
School board meeting recap
The Battle Ground Public Schools board of directors met on Tuesday, May 26, for a work session/special meeting and regular meeting. See a video and summary. During the regular meeting, the board voted to approve the following:
Associated Student Body amendments for Summit View High School and Chief Umtuch Middle School
Purchase of computers to replace aging models and maintain reliable performance. The purchase will be paid for by the 2024 capital levy.
The board will meet next on Monday, June 8, for a regular meeting at 4 p.m. (earlier than usual due to CAM Academy’s graduation later that evening). The meeting is open to the public at the Lewisville campus and streaming online.

For the 2026-27 school year, Battle Ground will be making adjustments to primary and middle school students’ access to school-issued technology. See a summary of the changes.
In case you missed it
Highlighting the class of 2026
Battle Ground Public Schools wants to highlight the class of 2026. If you are (or know) a graduating senior interested in being part of this year’s feature, please fill out this form (requires logging in) and upload a photo of yourself. Selections will be featured on the district website, social media channels and more.
Summer credit recovery options
High school credit recovery is available to current high schoolers, including high school seniors, who want to earn credit for a course they failed. Current eighth grade students may also recover credit for the Washington state history requirement. Learn more and register for credit recovery.
Due to budget challenges, BGPS will not offer courses for original credit this summer or summer school for kindergarten through eighth grade. Only credit recovery will be available.

Thousands of students will soon receive their diplomas and take the next step in their lives. Our website is your one-stop shop for all information about graduation ceremonies. Can’t attend in person? Courtesy of video production teacher and students, you can watch the livestream of each ceremony on Comcast or the BGTV 27 YouTube channel. Follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram for photos from each ceremony.

Sign up now for summer camps and activities
Battle Ground Community Education will offer a variety of classes and summer camps for kids of all ages. To see a full list of available camps and register, visit the Battle Ground Community Education website.
Right at School will offer summer camps at Tukes Valley Primary and Glenwood Heights Primary on Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. A state program called Working Connections Child Care may be able to help you cover the cost of this camp. Learn more.
